Enjoy hitting the gym or gearing up to start? Let me help you plan what to throw in your gym bag by giving you a little insight in to what’s in mine. Of course, your bag is going to look different from mine depending on what your routine looks like, but these are just a few of the things that I can’t live without in my bag!
Skin Tightening Oil from The Skin Print
So this oil was given to me as PR but my goodness, I love it with everything in me. For starters, there’s little to no scent which is perfect for someone like me that’s sensitive to fragrances. It’s formulated with natural oils and extracts that work to tighten the skin and leave you moisturized. I like to apply it before I leave home for the gym. I do my work out + shower after as usual and reapply the oil. Simply and effective. Be sure to put it in a leak proof bag so your gym bag doesn’t get ruined.
Uppper Ankle Straps
Okay, prior to about a month ago, I was not a ankle strap girl. I did my leg day and went about my business but these have changed the game for me. Not only do I feel more targeted burn on my leg days but I don’t have to worry about any rubbing or chaffing on my ankles because these feel like a dream! They have a ton of different colors just in case you’re not into grey or want something to match your gym bag.
My Secret Sauce
Stick with me. If you enjoy the sauna, let me put you on. During the cooler months, and honestly the hot ones too, I like to take a mason jar in the sauna with me. I fill it with castor oil, honey and vitamin e oil. I hang out in the sauna long enough for it to warm up the jar and then i apply it to my skin. It makes my skin sooooo smooth, supple, and hydrated after.
Mother’s Shea by Eu’Genia
For all the post-shower + smooth skin goodness, I always keep this whipped shea butter in my gym bag. It comes in three different scents but I prefer the vanilla scent because its fairly versatile with whatever other scents I might be wearing. During warmer months, I try to keep it in a silicon ziplock baggie just in case it gets too warm and melts.
